Lodging
Staying in Provincetown
Provincetown has no chain hotels and since we are getting married in-season, lodging will become sparse in the months leading up to September.
We recommend guests stay in Provincetown proper, as close to the venue and docks as you can get. The closer to downtown, the less need for a car while visiting.

We're hosting our wedding & reception at Pilgrim Monument & Museum in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The monument was constructed between 1907 and 1910 to commemorate the first landfall of the Pilgrims in 1620. Before setting sail to Plymouth, the Pilgrims stopped in Provincetown to author the Mayflower Compact. Once written, the Pilgrims sailed on across the cape to land at Plymouth.
In a ceremony on August 20, 1907, President Theodore Roosevelt officiated at the laying of the cornerstone. After the monument's completion, President William H. Taft dedicated it at a ceremony held on August 5, 1910.
Weather & Terrain Details
Our ceremony & reception will be outdoors. Our seated reception dinner will be tented and will take place on grass.
Pilgrim Monument is atop the highest hill in the area. By foot, the path up the hill may be grueling for some. Parking is not available at the venue.
On the Cape, Provincetown can get chilly at night. Expect on our wedding day a high of 65F, with a low of 53F. Be sure to bring a light jacket as it can also be windy.
Ptown
Provincetown is a secluded beach town, located at the end of Cape Cod
We visit Provincetown every year on vacation. After we got engaged on the beach at Provincetown, we joked about having our wedding in the town itself. Everything came together in the end and we're thrilled to be hosting our wedding in a town that has become so special to us.
Provincetown has long been a sanctuary for LGBT+ people. An inclusive vacation spot, Provincetown has plenty to do for everyone. You'll find little to no chain restaurants, with every establishment being owned by a local. There's plenty of restaurants, shops, bars, art galleries, shows, and much more.

Our Story
We had our first date in May of 2012.
After dating for more than 5 years, we got engaged in August of 2017. We met online through OkCupid and Brandon took way long to write back.
Almost five years later in January of 2017, Ben traveled abroad to Chile for his MBA program. His first international trip without Brandon, he decided while away that he was going to propose. He purchased two copper rings from local artisans and brought them back to the US.
Later that year, while on vacation, Ben decided to propose to Brandon on the beach. Brandon was totally surprised and said yes!
